Arcadia — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 November 2026

Privacy comes first

Your phone. Your rules. Zero ads. No data sold. Built to respect your privacy.

Your privacy is a top priority. Arcadia is a home screen launcher from Arcadia Foundry. We do not sell your personal data, show ads or require an account.

Your home screen stays personal

Your layout, folders and preferences are stored in Android's private app storage. Arcadia reads your installed apps so you can find and arrange them.

If you allow notification access, Arcadia shows your notifications and can save their history on your phone. Notification history is excluded from Android cloud backup and device transfer. Arcadia does not send us your notification history, installed-app list or home-screen layout.

If you allow usage access, Arcadia uses that information on your phone for features such as frequently used games. It is not sent to us as a history of the apps you use.

Permissions you control

You decide which permissions to allow and can change them in Android settings. Features that need a permission will not work without it; the rest of the launcher remains available.

Optional usage statistics

Usage statistics help guide Arcadia’s development, are designed to respect your privacy, and can be disabled in Settings → Permissions.

Protecting your information

Arcadia uses Android's private app storage to protect its local settings and history. Permissions limit access to features that need it. Your notifications and home-screen content are not used to build advertising profiles.

Widgets, shortcuts, media controls and smart-home actions come from the apps and services you choose. Those providers handle their own data under their own privacy policies. Android system services and your chosen backup provider do the same.

Backups and deletion

You can clear notification history in Arcadia. Clearing app storage or uninstalling removes Arcadia's local data, subject to Android's backup and restore settings.

Android may back up eligible settings. Backups you export, including scheduled backups, go to the destination you choose, which may be a cloud provider. Delete those copies separately; uninstalling Arcadia does not remove them.

Contact and your rights

For privacy questions or access, correction or deletion requests, email contact@arcadiafoundry.com. If you contact us, we use the information you provide to handle your request, keep it only as needed for that purpose or legal obligations, and do not sell it. Please do not include private notification contents or other unnecessary sensitive information.

You can also raise a concern with your local data-protection authority, including the UK's Information Commissioner's Office. Arcadia is a general-purpose launcher, not a service directed at children. Contact us if you have a concern about a child's information.

We update the date above when this policy changes. The current policy is at https://arcadiafoundry.com/privacy-policy.html.
